Luke Jones ends a day of testing at Oulton Park in Cheshire in a positive mood, as he prepares to return to the MCE Insurance backed BSB Championship. After five weeks of convalescing from his operation to cure arm pump, Luke was itching to get out on his superbike and put in some much needed tracktime.

After a gentle session in the morning around the 1.6 mile Cheshire circuit, Luke was happy with his grip and by the end of the afternoon, the 21 year old was firing on all cylinders.

At the end of testing, Luke commented. “The last couple of weeks since the operation has been hard, especially missing last weekend at Mallory, but after today, I feel it has all been worth it. I feel much better and can’t wait for Knockhill. I would like to thank everyone for their good luck messages and patience."
